Eat A Healthy Breakfast

It’s not an old wives tale, it really is true that breakfast is the most important meal of your day. For the majority of us, it’s been about 12 hours since our last meal and our bodies are in need of refueling. But statistics show that as many at 50% of people don’t eat breakfast. Why not? We’re think we are too busy or we don’t like breakfast foods or we’re not hungry. We think that by skipping breakfast we can cut calories and lose weight. (This is the biggest falsehood of all, by the way)

Sad to say, none of those reasons are good ones. There are many healthy breakfasts that can either be bought or made that are fast and delicious and healthy. If you don’t like breakfast food, eat something else. No one said you had to eat breakfast food only. In many countries, (Like China for example, breakfast is little different than other meals of the day.) I went on a bean kick the awhile back and beans for breakfast were very tasty!

Just know that a good healthy meal at the start of the day really is one of the best ways to jump start your system and help you lose weight. So get creative and have fun with your choices. You will be happy that you did.
