Weight Loss – Keep it Simple

Since my husband Jeff decided that it was time for him to get real, and get aggressive, about taking of that extra 25 pounds he has been groaning about for years, I decided to give it a go as well. We both love to cook, and spend the majority of our free time (evenings and weekends) in the kitchen, cooking. We love to entertain, and one of the central topics for our friends family is, well, food…and wine, and well, beer, and OK coffee!

We have a few friends in the restaurant business, and it seems like over the years we’ve become more and more involved with the whole universe of food. That’s been great, and a lot of fun, the problem is that we have not had a corresponding level attention to, you guessed it, exercise. We are considering ways in which we can do some of the things we learned from the Dr. Darm approach to basic and sensible weight loss program, with some medical supervision so we’re aware of the medical components that have led to our increased pants sizes, (and decreased health) You can see in the Dr Darm videos that as long as you are willing to adhere to basic principles, it’s not all that hard to change your life and learn what works for you in losing the extra weight!
